Barn Beach Reserve

Leavenworth, Washington

Barn Beach Reserve is a 5-acre historic site on the bluffs of the Wenatchee River. The project goal is to restore and interpret the site and transform the current 10,000 sf Lorelei Haus and Site into an historic, nature and performing arts visitor center. The project is being done under the umbrella organization of the Icicle Fund and merges the interests of various civic groups including the Audubon Society, Wenatchee Upper Valley Museum and Watershed Art. Barn Beach Reserve received an AIA 2009 Regional Top 10 Green Award  with Bassetti Architects.
