Mystic Aquarium, Arctic Coast Exhibit

Mystic, Connecticut

The Arctic Coast Exhibit provides a 750,000 gallon habitat for beluga whales and harbor seals and is the pivotal entry exhibit for Mystics $50 million aquarium redevelopment project. It replicates a geologic transect of the Alaskan Cook Inlet with its precipitous coastline, cobble beach and rocky shore tidal areas.
